The e4od trucks have a "tps". It's called something like FIPL or something like that.
That's what I thought. The E4OD has a lot of different electronics on it and thats the tranny I assumed SWS was talking about.

If you want to get a little creative it wouldn't be hard to make a simple computer based off a tach signal, if the rpm falls under 900 relay off otherwise relay on
Don't worry about the stupid little vacuum can on the side. Its for GASSER cars/trucks with a throttle body. Its meant under vacuum conditions to bypass the blower to reduce HP consumption. apply positive manifold pressure as you start to spin the blower faster and open up the throttle body it'll press it closed. Our motors are big air pumps anyway.
I have 3/4 of the pulley with the belt wrapped and i can still blow the belts off the car if i'm not careful. Between my mod motor 5.4 and my buddy's whipple powered 4.6 3v we change serpentine belts every 6-8k depending on how hard we are on the cars. These things slip when you start to spin them up and again on the spin down. When i downshift hard i can usually hear the belt squeal. Same thing with my buddy's mustang. So if you are going to do a v belt, gonna need more than 1 or 2.
I have an ats088. i can take pics and measure for you tommorow if you like.
Cool idea but a lil hard for my taste. Haha
. Trying to think of how to do the KISS method now.
. I knew a guy who had his truck parked using a gear and the starter solenoid or somewhere along the trigger wire malfunctioned and his truck drove a short length and started trying to (or did... forgetful) climb up a neighbors' cars hood
Yeah most guys here don't like to tinker with that sort of stuff. Maybe make a manual fast idle switch, and have that also hook up to the blower. No more automated stuff...
turn the truck on and it would idle slow but no boost, flip the switch to pick up some rpms and boost. Trying to think of how to do the KISS method now.
Starter might be fine with turning the super boosting though. I knew a guy who had his truck parked using a gear and the starter solenoid or somewhere along the trigger wire malfunctioned and his truck drove a short length and started trying to (or did... forgetful) climb up a neighbors' cars hood

Ya that would be pretty crazy!
But anyway maybe I'm getting too technical. It just might be easiest to but the stock part back on and make it function like it was built to. Idk only way to know is to test it out.
. I'd go that route if you could make it work, to be automated and allHobbs could work probably, I was thinking about it too earlier when I posted but forgot the name. I'd go that route if you could make it work, to be automated and all
Yeah, run the TPS to a relay. When it gets to a certain voltage, it will close the relay and activate the selonoid and close the valve. See...simple.
