all that work and put a newer steering column in it? why? thats an 80's column and wheel. can see where the original turn signal went. also wunder what the other side of the column looks like where the key was since the key is in the original spot on the dash.
I don't know if that wheel is OEM for '76, but the lumber rack that's on my truck came off a '79 F-250 that had that style steering wheel on it from the factory. I've also seen vans from the '70's that had that steering wheel on it...again, I don't know exactly when Ford changed that design, but I have a feeling that that wheel is original.
Can't comment about the column, although from what I remember about that '79 F-250, the column looks correct (although the add-on turn signal switch is certainly not OEM; even my dad's old '67 F-250 had the turn signal switch internal to the column in the same spot where the hole is on this column). Actually, on second thought, that column looks very similar to the one on my dad's old '67, except the color...
