Lots of nice trucks guys!

Pics of Big Ed ad Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The first one is shortly after I got it about 6 years ago. The second is what it evolved into,..

Sharp trucks. Here's mine. Sorry it's not closer, took a quick picture from the bedroom window. It's stock.

Sorry all. I'm not smart enough to post pics of my truck but.. You can see a few of them in the Diesel Power magazine on page 56. Also my camera seems to have lost its battery charger and the battery is dead... That just makes me mad... Even if I tried to take some pics it wouldn't happen... Its my charma so I'm told.....:dunno

Mine looks nicer on the inside than the outside. Still love the way that OD cancel switch looks OEM. The primer patch has since been painted over.

Yeah Ivan, I noticed that. I wonderd if you might have been doing a little drinking when ya painted it:rotflmao

If you live around Detroit long enough, you might start acting kinda funny:D

Nope, no drinking involved, just like when I took the roof off the Lincoln... maybe that was the problem? :D And I actually avoid the D, we rednecks don't belong there, them brothers are usually cool but sometimes they act just, well, strange ;Really

It's pretty easy if you have an entire front clip as a donor. I used one from a '95 PSD F-SuperDuty. You need the hood and cowl as well. The bottom bolt as the rear of the fenders was the only different. It is horizontal on the '83-'86 and it is verticle on the '92-'97. You can use a gasser hood, grill, cowl, fenders and what not, but you must use a diesel radiator support.

Hey AZDIRT, got any more '83-'86 crew cab IDI's? Wanna sell yours?

Hey Ryan, how hard was it to do the front clip swap?

Pretty much a direct bolt on. Just like hustton said you can use a gasser hood bumper, fenders, grill and the only thing that must be from a diesel is the radiator core support.

It was a weekend job. The only modifications needed are like stated the rear bolt on the bottom but its just a grab vice grips and bend deal. You will also need to fabricate a bumper mount as ours on the 80-86 are different than on the newer trucks, all in all it was a fairly easy swap...Any questions PM me or ask, ill gladly help ya.

Here's mine. I think it falls mostly under the stock classification, even though someone before me put in a 7.3.

The first is back at the farm, before I left for college.
The second is at college, shell for storage only.
The third is the most recent picture I have, from a weekend when both me and my brother drove our trucks home, so we took a picture of all of our family's trucks together.
