1.) I think aluminized.

2.) On a stock truck, prolly a waste.

3.) Stay away from any of the reusable oil type (K&N)

4.) MBRP is a very popular choice.

5.) Check out our vendors, many of them carry several options in exhaust.

If you dont get a real quick response via e-mail, do yourself a favor and call Dale on his 1-800 number. The guy is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the PSD's and is great to talk to.

95_stroker,

Aluminized, duals are for looks, if you want max flow get an AFE Pro Guard 7 Stage II intakestops the dirt but flows the air. Get the MBRP exhaust it is available in aluminized or stainless and expands to 4 inches at 20 inches from the turbo for max flow rate!
Call us at DPPI for any questions you might thave.

95_stroker,

Yep I saw that, great minds think alike!! I wanted him to know about the Pro Guard 7, it's washable and gauze but stops the dirt the 4 layer filters let thru and flows more etc.

I dont agree with some of the stuff he said,
First off the Stock exhaust is a Stainless blend and not Aluminized. Second the Regular AFE filter will give more flow then the PG7 But I agree the PG7 would filter better. Third the MBRP Exhaust For Super Dutys is 4 inch from the Start NOT 20 inches down from the Turbo.

I have heard very good things about MBRP and plan on purchasing the turbo back exhaust as soon as the cash flow allows.
