This rough looking wire set is attached to the hot side of the starter relay. I have a 5.6amp parasitic draw on them wires. I’m guessing they feed the fuseblocks. I pulled all the fuses with no change in draw. Any ideas things to check? Just started doing this

I believe that’s the power for your glow plugs. Check that you don’t have any shorts on your glow plug relay.

No. I found that one. This one goes in the harness around the front of the truck. In front of the batteries and radiator

Hey @kbenz ..... this is the kind of stuff that happens when you run your truck on alternative fuels, next your brakes will go out and then your seat cushion will tear, and then you get cracks in your windshield just before your IP falls off and then you stub your toe while busting a knuckle.....now you just think about that the next time you fuel up.... and remember just how bad you're treating your machine......serves you right! It's only 5.6amps now..... it'll be 7.3amps next time......lol!

Don’t gotta run alternative fuels for brakes to go out, seat to tear, and window to crack. Maybe for the IP to fall off though LOL

yea. One goes to inside fuseblock and one for the fuseblock under the hood I would think. Just don't know where to look for that draw?

Could be all sorts of stuff. Headlight knob turned over so the rear cab light on? Radio? Dome light? Not a whole lot of wiring to these ...

Ain't that hard, put meter to millivolts, and hit each fuse. If I remember right anything drawing more than 0.3mv across the fuse is considered a parasitic draw. And yes, youre measuring across the fuse, not one on ground and one on fuse.

Already went through the fuses with no change.
I put a kill switch on it for now. Which usually means it’ll stay that way

Alright sir, I'll agree that "it ain't hard".
It is, however, an a** whippin' for me.

I ran around the truck, for the better part of two hours, testing and re-testing ... still had a draw. It turned out to be the fusible link to the GP controller.

Could it be your alternator? ( Voltage regulator).

Since you have already pulled all the fuses to no avail, maybe you have a malfunctioning "starter switch" that's not shutting down everything?

Very few things are unfused...Starter motor, Alternator, Glow Plugs.

Is this parasitic draw consistent?

Or does it wobble a bit like a switch contact that is neither off or on?

I had a similar issue in my previous truck. 94 f250. Had a constant draw that would kill the batteries if it sat for a few days. Ended up finding a frayed wire tucked up behind the aluminum pedal frame in the cab, under the dash. A small wire had pinched just so against the main ignition wire and rubbed thru the insulation. I believe it was triggering the glove box light, cab light, couple other things. Fixing it was an absolute PITA. Had to rip the whole dash apart, down to the cab sheet metal. fixed most of it but still had a trickle of current going somewhere and just didnt have it in me to rip the cab apart again to find it and ended up landing Big Earl the Unicorn instead. Sold the F250 shortly after.

Haven't had any issues since I put a kill switch on the wires that got to the fuse block. The draw might have wobbled .01amp when I was testing
