I might have an extra IP laying around if you want the one out of that. Of course you'll have to depend on the SUPER poor USPS if you want me to send it to you.

it's a special part that has a small check valve inside to regulate housing pressure. if you have a straight through fitting, the pump will act like the cold
If you have an adjustable fuel pump you can overcome this, gaining 5cc throughout the rpm band and also cooling the pump more to boot. See TheWesPaul's thread here, halfway down the first post: DB2 Tuning Guide!

Since it's not here yet, he did send me a message that he was able to find another one. So the problem has been solved.
