Hey all, finally got my 96 F350 back from the shop. more engine work than we thought but it is what it is and she is ready for work..
one thing i was trying to find is where to get the fuel lines that run up to the fuel bowl.. if you look in thru the drivers side over the wheel you can see where they connect and the mechanic said it was possible the orings dried out while the engine was out.
said a small fuel bubble of fuel would form but said nothing dripped over night, i have run it the past couple days and apparently those orings have swelled back im not even seeing a fuel droplet form on the bottom of where they connect together.. i thought i would get those and have them on hand in case these start to seep etc..
Anyone have a source or place online. he said i could find them online cheaper..

Thanks all

I think these are what you’re looking for. This picture is from Riff Raff.

Is your truck an automatic? The metal lines on the passenger side should be transmission fluid. Are you able to trace them to see where they connect?

Eliminate the braided lines and leaky quick connect fittings by cutting and flaring the metal lines, connecting them with diesel fuel rate hose and clamps

Well i would but purchased the flexible lines already, went to do.that job sat. Morning and the metal lines coming from the bowl down were corroded and thats where my leak was coming from, that metal line ended up rusting to the point fuel was dripping out of the metal line.
So new metal lines will be here tomorrow.
Question is how hard is it to replace the lines from the bowl down?

just a update on that little task.. well first time doing it took me awhile needless to say if i had to do over again i would rather not but at least it would take 1/3 the time.. removing a fuel line and a fuel to head line and the A/C compressor and bracket is the only way to get to them suckers..
