IDM should be completely sealed....highly likely this is your problem

Get a an electrical connector maintenance kit like this

and some of this

to make all of your electrical harness connections like new.

I ended up leaving the 4 ventholes. I read somewhere on here the idm's will over heat if not. I made a silicone ridge to diver water away.

Yes I used some qd contact cleaner as well as do electric grease. Greased my cps connection as well

Hmmm interesting. If I continue to have problems I will seall them. I figured the whole plug had been off. So putting it in should be an improvement I hope.
