Probably going to sell our 97 F250 4x4 crew cab with 208k miles on it. Located in SEPA. Mechanically flawless, body has expected rust areas for being 22 years old. Could possibly be the last 7.3 put in an OBS because it was built 12/97. New brakes/tires/inspection through 11/2020

Thoughts on value? kbb.com "good condition" puts it at $2900-$5400 but I haven't found one comparable for less than $10k.

Im an OBS CCSB connoisseur I guess. They are the rarest OBS I believe. I would give the boys at Complete Performance a call. The do OBS only and have 2 divisions one has a line of OBS specific parts and the other buys and sells OBS trucks. So they may know the market well. A friend just sold his for 24k rust free though. I wouldn’t take 24k for mine.
Is yours stock or auto?

I sold my 97 F250 Crewcab shortbed 2wd for $2500 Canadian in June. but it needed a lot of work, some mechanical some minor body 350,000 ish km on it but it had a new clutch in it. was running and driving but wasn't roadworthy from sitting. I included a pair of new never installed F250/350

DJM dream beams I had in the shop for 3 yrs , without those I woudl have been stuck with a part out and I wanted to move the truck. if it had been a 4wd I woudl have finished fixing it up and used it myself.

these trucks are all over the place on price. in the north where rot is a factor they go cheap sometimes , outside the rust belt they bring rediculous money.

my 97 F350 crewcab I ended up keeping and fixing up for our summer trip was bought for $1200 for parts but ended up making a run to the Arctic ocean in July.

trucks value really depends on who is looking. in PA you are in the rust belt and body/frame condition will decide the price, if its a rotten pile a well maintained driveline won't mean much......... unless you are keeping it:cheers:
