Yeah I have a hard time with that normally but I'm willing to make an exception for this.

I bought clearance lights for my Chevy years ago, just couldn't bring myself to drill the holes...

Keep us updated! Maybe you'll motivate me... Haha it's gonna look awesome!

I put the visor on Diego today. No pics until after I wash it LOL

I had planned on fixing the rust before covering it back up but... I don't have the time before winter or the patience right now...

It was covered up with tape to keep water out so I wasn't sure how bad it was. The metal seems pretty clean and solid around it, but it's going to be a... "fun" summer project.

In the meantime I cleaned it up with a wire brush and painted it before re-taping it. It'll hold for now and the visor covers up almost everything. I did have to drill a new hole in the visor to miss the soft spot though.

After painting, gorilla tape is good for at least 3 years. Experience talking, here... Just make sure it is good and clean when you apply the tape, and rub that tape really good with something like a spoon or wrench.

Also, it didn't rust any more at all after the tape was applied!

I umm... May have applied the tape while the paint was still tacky. I don't think it's going anywhere lol!

I've been shocked how well gorilla tape holds up. Last place I worked I taped the truck mirrors back together with duct tape and it lasted like a month. Tried gorilla tape and got like a year and a half

I have a white '91 crew that I swore I was going to do something about after I finished my '93 and then my '06. I went and sprayed some rust reformer on it today

Today Tank hauled his last load for the year :( picked up some firewood and waste oil from work. I'm planning on swapping the tags from him to Diego over the winter.

When I got home I pulled the bumper and fog lights off Tank and swapped them over to Diego. Looks pretty good actually!

I also replaced the washer bottle and pump with a parts one I had. Washers work now! I still need to do something about the terribly slow wipers. Probably needs a wiper motor.

The visor seems to have changed the aerodynamics just enough to make the front wall of the cap wobble a little bit. I'm not sure what I'll do about that, I might just try sliding it back a half inch.

Why is it the last load?

Waste oil... For use as fuel? If so, dood! We need pics and explanation of your setup!

A couple reasons, mainly because registering Diego would cost me about $300 plus sales tax plus an extra $35/month for insurance. I just can't justify that especially when I'm planning on NOT driving Tank in the snow/salt. Doing it this way the insurance stays the same and registration transfer will only cost around $150 including sales tax.

Tank needs paint and honestly quite a few other things right now, one of them being a return line kit and one or two injectors pulled and the copper washers replaced.

Look it up! :p

I'm not running it yet really, I ran some of it this year on my way out to Wes' place. I need to get a drum heater and do some more work to my setup before I "get serious" but I do have plenty of waste oil to "burn through" so to speak!
