Replacing the TC

Hey guys. I've had the shudder for a little while now. I used to deal with it by using the break pedal to manipulate the lockup but I've finally decided to park the truck. I have a 3 clutch billet converter on the way.

While the tranny is out, is there anything else i should replace? I was kind of thinking rear main. I've heard guys talk about the front pump seal. Should i replace that? I plan on cleaning and inspecting everything along with throwing a manual lockup switch In. Thanks fellas.

How many miles? I've also replaced the pump bushing on them as well if they're shifting fine but are higher mileage.

185k. I really want to put the tugger in while the tranny is out. Not sure if I'll be able to afford it though.

Is the TransGo Tugger kit worth it??

Spend the coin. The TransGo Tugger is worth it.

The pump should be modified when using a multi disk converter. This kit will address the problems.

The tugger kit will include the pump mods ? When I was reading the stickied tugger thread I saw the part where he did the pump upgrades but I wasn't sure if that was separate.

where are you getting it? can you get us a review of it?

I got it through Torco. It's their Reman triple disk billet converter. I know I know it's a reman. I will 100% leave a review of it.

That is the kit.

The pump seal is not included. You can get it from a good parts store. Make sure it is a Viton seal. Not the factory rubber seal.

Just ordered the viton seal and the tugger kit. I'm getting excited now. I'll post my progress and reviews of the sellers and products

Here is the TC. Came in really fast and good customer service. Is there any way to tell for sure if this is the triple clutch and all that? I'm sure it is but I like to make sure. I'll keep updated.

The clutch pack is inside the welds isnt it? its gonna be hard to confirm unless you're pulling 500 torque

Yeah I didn't think I would be able to for sure tell. I would think you could do it by weight. If you had a good scale and good numbers to go off of.
