Hi OldBull8, I already removed the covers and changed the multifunction switch. I simply cannot figure out why there is nothing happening with the flashers. Glow Plug Relay Issues
Well after triple checking everything, I felt the need to try the k.i.s.s method. After thinking about it, I checked the wiring on the fender well solenoid, I found a few bad connections and after a thorough cleaning problem solved. The rapid clicking was due to a lack of power to the relay- brdmh44

Glow Plug Relay Issues
Thanks for the quick response.....thinking back to it....those yellow wires that supply power from the batter were bad on my truck so I ran a #4wire with fuse from the battery to supply power - makes me wonder if having the yellow wires hooked up is causing some sort of issue. 6.9 IH NA Oil Pan Replacement? whats involved?
+2 on the brazing or jb weld option if you have no way to pull the motor! There are a ton of bolts supporting the pan coupled with loads of grease and the scraping required to clean the rails - well, it's just easier to pull it out. Drain any remaining oil from the pan, brake clean the damaged...- brdmh44

I should have clarified my post a bit better - When I implied "straight argon" I meant to say I will never weld with flux core, I only use a mig welder with shielding gas....I do in fact use a 75% argon 25% Co2 mix - heck my supplier doesn't even have straight argon anymore. Yeah flux core can be pretty sloppy....I don't even bother using it anymore for that reason! 100% argon is my choice. When it was opened up, were you able to see around the inner part of the wheel arch? I often wonder how much area there is available for crap to gather and rot out the...- brdmh44

I'm just glad to still have brakes whether power or manual! A pedal that goes to the floor will turn white drawers brown real quick! My 1967 mustang has 4 wheel manual drum brakes and stops just fine, as long as your doing 15mph or less haha- brdmh44

It's on my '94 F350, I'm just glad I was so close to home when it sheared in half though! Good call on rock auto, they are 71.50 ...it just stinks that it happend... I love my trucks, but they are all living up to fix or repair daily hahaha- brdmh44

How common is it for vacuum pumps to fail on these trucks and what do you all recommend for replacement? Mine locked up then sheared the housing off....odd I know... True dual exhaust??
+1 on the obnoxiousness! My '86 went through 3 cheap exhaust systems last year and I gave up and just ran the open Y-Pipe! By the time farming was done last fall and it was snow plow season, I never hooked it back up. Plowing snow with an open Y-Pipe was kinda fun though, I would bet my shoveler...- brdmh44
