Super Duty question
You may need to change the header panel that the headlights attach to also. (or, I think there is a mod to make the updated headlights fit the older panel.)- Fishin76

1993 E150 van 5.8L to 7.3 swap worth it
You would have an easier time putting in an IDI 7.3 turbo engine and auto trans, rather than the much more complex PSD.- Fishin76

Newbie to the 7.3L PSD
Nope, when you experience hard starts in the cold, You'll know. Normally if you have some bad, your engine will smoke white out the tailpipe upon startup. the white smoke is raw fuel, and it smells like fuel too. Also, you'll have a very poor idle at startup until you give it some pedal to...- Fishin76

Truck won't start
That sounds like a compression problem. when it is running, take the oil fill cap off, turn it upside down and set it on top of the tube. If it blows the cap off, you have a bigger problem.- Fishin76

Newbie to the 7.3L PSD
Most of the glow plug problems on the PSD's are Relay related. The are lots of articles on how to check the GPR. I just had to replace mine, wouldn't start in the cold. NAPA GPR-109, 26 bucks. Fixed it.- Fishin76

You can do better, If thats what the dealer is listing it for, shoot him 6500 out the door and wait for the them. I got my 2000 f250 Scab 4x4 LB for $7500 a couple weeks ago. 234K on it.- Fishin76

I'm glad it was nothing serious. I knew it ran good. Ya, everyone, It's was my truck. At least I didn't scrap it. (thought about it, though) I'm getting a 'new to me' diesel tomorrow. I'll post details later. Guess I need to take it outta my sig don't I?- Fishin76

Help! Need rear tail light harness. Corrosion bug bit hard.

2wd to 4wd swap
I didn't think you could use a chevy front axle, because it's a right hand drop, as our trucks are a left hand. I guess you could if you put in a matching t-case. eeeww, that would look weird under ford, a right hand drop axle.......- Fishin76
