Super Duty question
You may need to change the header panel that the headlights attach to also. (or, I think there is a mod to make the updated headlights fit the older panel.)- Fishin76

Nope, when you experience hard starts in the cold, You'll know. Normally if you have some bad, your engine will smoke white out the tailpipe upon startup. the white smoke is raw fuel, and it smells like fuel too. Truck won't start
That sounds like a compression problem. when it is running, take the oil fill cap off, turn it upside down and set it on top of the tube. If it blows the cap off, you have a bigger problem.- Fishin76

Newbie to the 7.3L PSD
Most of the glow plug problems on the PSD's are Relay related. The are lots of articles on how to check the GPR. I just had to replace mine, wouldn't start in the cold. NAPA GPR-109, 26 bucks. Fixed it.- Fishin76

You can do better, If thats what the dealer is listing it for, shoot him 6500 out the door and wait for the them. I got my 2000 f250 Scab 4x4 LB for $7500 a couple weeks ago. 234K on it.- Fishin76

Help! Need rear tail light harness. Corrosion bug bit hard.

2wd to 4wd swap
I didn't think you could use a chevy front axle, because it's a right hand drop, as our trucks are a left hand. I guess you could if you put in a matching t-case. eeeww, that would look weird under ford, a right hand drop axle.......- Fishin76

Broken tip on a Beru
If he went to start it with water in the cylinder, it for sure bent a rod. If you had a gp tip in there, it still would have turned over after it crushed the tip. Can't crush water.... Good luck.- Fishin76

motorcraft glowplug help quick
There are no plugs for a 7.3 that are self regulating that work with the stock controller. If you go to a push button, there are many to try. For 6.9's, Wellman (dieselRx) makes a plug that is self regulating, and it works with the stock 6.9 old style controller. I have 4 of them in now, all...- Fishin76

Confused
With the key on,Take the wire off the FSS and just touch it to the terminal on the IP, you should see a spark. If you do, keep touching the wire to the terminal until you here it clicking. I've had to exercise the FSS before to get it moving and not sticking.- Fishin76
