Sorry to go into the weeds, but is that a common thing? I ask because my uncle bought an '04 Dakota V6 brand-new, and generally only sees 13 to 15 mpg unfortunately, he's wanting to replace it with a Toyota hybrid "pickup" if they ever build one

The V6 Dodges really ain't all that good on fuel, but I think it has to do more with the weight of the trucks they're installed in - kinda like the F150s with the 4-liter (or whatever size it was) V6.

Yea.The onboard says 18.6MPG right now.....and falling.It is a nice truck......right now...I just wonder if dodge fixed the issues of the truck falling apart around teh driver yet?All in all,If I came across a hell of a deal on one,I would buy it...but I wouldn't go out of my way to get one if I was just looking for a new truck.It is kinda impressive package wise other than the guttless wonder under the hood....but then again,I am used to driving no horse power vehicles.
