Finally bought a truck!
also with the 355 gears and automatic trans you can pull a steep grade right at 1800 rpms MAX TORQUE .... with the 410s as you have now you are at about 23-2500 rpms- 7.3 powerstrok

go with the 355 gears ,2=mpgs better than 410s..................... the 373 gears same as 410s ,in my opinion . best for haulin off hi-way ,- 7.3 powerstrok

95 f350 powerstroke 7.3 wont crank
you need a new starter ,problem is the brushes hang -up in the holder ,little or no contact intermittemt ,with no load starter mat run perfect ,when installed load =no crank power ,remove the end cap and you will find the brushes hung up=not able to spring load on the armeture ,new starters on...- 7.3 powerstrok

good question uuuummmmm lets see ..only answer is NO you can un plug the 2-plugs from the trans and still start and drive it .also *** stat ford said its fine yea thats where i would go for a rebuilt nnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooootttttttttt,first of all at the dealer you have to talk to the mechanics...- 7.3 powerstrok

Remaned Ford E40d Transmission by Ford? Happy?
ford remanafactured e4od trans for 1995 is not rebuilt with any up-grades in fact it will even have the old style servo ,i have disassembled a ford reman e4od and found a few issues ,you may get one from the ford dealer with the old style pump ,warranty sounds good ,however ..call a dealer and...- 7.3 powerstrok

Dorman 600-602 Shift Linkage for Ford Truck 4WD
may want to consider going with the early style 4x4 shifter 1989 much better set up in my opinion its a up-grade and you will never have to replace it .the 93-96 style you have are very poor design dont wast the money prone to break ,snaaaaappppp,there goes another hundred- 7.3 powerstrok

2wd to 4wd frame diference?
the 4x4 frame has a extra support on the right side rail (boxed in right frame horn ),may want to add something simliar ,if using a 2x4 frame- 7.3 powerstrok

Fuel .....hot or cold.....
yes i agree would be the same degrees ,however on a 30 degree day the fuel would have to be retained in the rad longer than on a 100 degree day ..to be at the same temp ,- 7.3 powerstrok

yes diesel fuel can be to hot .....as for running it through the trans cooler this will heat the fuel nicely on a 30 degree day ,however on a 100 degree day to hot ....poor performance decreased fuel mpg ,...also the amount of fuel in the tank will impact the temperture of the fuel ..example...- 7.3 powerstrok

TC or Transmission?
well based on that fact the trans most likely has very little fluid pressure ,,one thing you could do is remove front grill ,,remove the trans coolerfeed line from the cooler (the one connecting to the front of the trans ) and clamp a gauge on that line to confirm the line pressure from the pump- 7.3 powerstrok
