I have a ZF5 speed trans with PTO installed, it came out of a 88 F350 Diesel. Odometer said 3,000 miles on it so 103K, 203K :dunno However the truck had a newer Jasper motor in and the owner said the trans is good.

$800.00 Plus shipping. It will be on a strapped to a pallet and can be forklifted on a truck for shipping.

If you want to convert your auto to a stick I can supply most of the parts that the trans came off of.

Pics will be up soon.

Thanks!

Boy if this had come along when the Moosestang was under construction, I'd have been all over that!

Darn it anyway....2WD not 4 oh well.

I thought that the ZF's use an internal Hydraulic TO bearing not a fork...or is that only 4WD only versions?

IIRC the ZF used behind the PSD (model S5-47) uses an internal slave cylinder setup, but the S5-42 tranny used behind the IDI uses the fork setup. In fact, the hydraulic system is identical to what the T-19 uses (although the fork itself is different, to account for a different diameter TO bearing)...

That PTO would be a nice thing to have

ZF in a PSD is the saem external slave as the IDI's, It is the gassers that use the internal.
s-42s, and s-47s will interchange physically, but 1st gear is a different ratio.
