Would a MC do this?

I finally got my brake working and have a little problem. The truck stops great, better than it ever has before after I eliminated the RABS, but the pedal will not return after being pressed (it has a spring on it). The booster, which is supposed to be new at Autozone too, is bad, I can hear it leaking. Is it the master thats causing this, or could it be the booster? The MC is not leaking into the booster either. Thanks guys

hmm thats wierd. When I switched to hydroboost, I did not put a return spring on it and it still returns just fine. I would suspect the MC, because thats what you are compressing and then it pushes back. Ive had a vacuum pump go bad on me and therefore making the booster useless and the pedal still returned.

First though take off the MC again and check if its binding up

So just pull it off the booster and compress the cylinder with a punch and see if it comes back smoothly then? That a pretty good idea

yes that and see if the push rod is in there right and also that the brake pedal is hooked up to the booster push rod right.
