Wire Questions

Ok, I am NOT a guru at wiring but I certainly can move along fairly quickly!!

I had a ground issue on the left hand marker, brake/signal light. Instead of hacking and piecing, I COMPLETELY removed everything from the plug at the back, cut the plug off and installed a junction box. Trailer lights, truck lights and whatever else is routed into this box.

HOWEVER, I found 2 extra wires. I have the signal lights (L & R, which also are the brake light wires) and the marker lights but there are two extra wires that come out of that plug.

I am assuming one is a ground?

What is the other?

I still have to hook up my license plate lights but everything else is there and works A1!

I was just out looking at it and it very well could be midnight. I never did get a proper plug to install on a ZF for working reverse lights.

If anyone has a plug for the transmission that they want to part with, let me know!!

I KNEW one was ground by doing a contunuity test, but I couldn't get ANYTHING on the other wire...that's because there is no plug for power to come through it!!

...I don't think there is. I tried to ship a GP controller to Dyoung14 a while back...didn't go so well. I got paypal to give you some $$ for yor time, shipping and the plug. Do you have PP too?
