Window seal help

So what am I missing here??

I fought and finally got the window Channels in. Am I supposed to split the top seal so it will lay over the bottom or something?? Old ones are long since gone.

Pics or instructions pretty please !!

I haven't had any on my truck for a while. I would like to get some so I want to see the fix for it.

I would trim it off where it meets the vertical channel.

I bought all new window seals from LMC, not happy with quality. Both doors leak around wings.
