I've been told it would fit, but I think the problem with that would be the fact that it points down...wouldn't give you much clearance to hook up pipes on top of the IDI.

yes it will but like ghunt said with it pointing down it is pretty much useless in an idi

you can buy 1" spacers from checker and napa but i think you would need much more that one inch. are you just trying to make a custom "cold air intake"?
