Why does ignigtion key not stay on?

What causing the key to bump back to the off position when i shift the lever on the column. Aotomatic
If i keep my hand on the key with a little preasure no problem.
I popped out the tumbler and cleaned it up to try and help. Is there suspose to be some sort of spring or detent ball in there?

Ignition could need adjusted down under the dash.
