Which Belt?

So my belt is squeaking up a storm. Yes I'm gonna look at idler/tensioner once I get it off. Held a long screwdriver to the vac. pump and didn't hear the squeak coming through it.

My truck is a 1994 F250 IDI with the factory turbo

With that said, asking for a belt for a !1993! turbo diesel (helps eliminate Powerstrokes) F250 at Autozone gets me the options of a 110 and 113 inch belt. Napa lists a 111 inch belt. The one on my truck is 112 (Gates K061120). What?

You need to memorize your 8th digit on your vin. They should ask you this in the parts stores when you get parts. I wonder what NAPA list for a 94 idi? Your vin is a "K" correct?

Autozone lists a 111 1/2" long belt for a "K" engine. I think the "F" is the powerstroke and the "M" is the idi with no turbo. All 3 are listed as options in 94. Ford never disappoints in their effort to confuse.

Armed with that knowledge I'll hit up Napa here in a bit and see what happens
