Hey all, Got my truck on the road, Its alot of fun to see peoples looks when they see it a shortbox. Anyway I need to get it timed but in the meantime where should the timing mark be in relation to the one on the Ip housing, It seems to be running good but a little doggy, 6.9 N/A, Stock fuel sys, T-19, 2WD. Thanks for the help.- Brad-

The best position for static timing is to line up the timing mark on the injector pump flange and the one on the manifold which it mounts to. You can play with it a bit, whatever you do you don't want to advance it too much. Timing spoecs are 1.5 ATDC at 1400 by the luminosity method or 8.5*BTDC@2000 with the pulse method.

Best to find somebody with a dynamic timing meter that can do it for you, or come join us in Rising Sun at the end of the month, and we can time it for you.
