To the intake IIRC. The engine somewhere back there. I think there was a stud bolt that had the ground wire on it.

my glow plug controller is wired straight to the battery for the heavy lug.
and one wire for ignition on.

you did install a large maxi fuse or a fuseable link right?......just checking.hate to see her burn to the ground on ya.

Where is it grounded at?

this is new to you idi truck,preventive maintenance.to shine and grease this ground wire up.you can't miss it.follow the black wire.laserjock describes it well.9 times out of 10 this will cure your relay power issue.

That black wire disappeared into a loom and I don't know where it went from there.i did determine that the glow plugs and the wait to start light is good

the black wire is on the controller itself, it cannot get lost in the loom.
this gets connected to the block.

The black wire on the controller is only about 6" long, it shouldn't go into any loom, just straight to the bolt on the intake manifold on the pass side close to the firewall.

I just been looking at the wrong black wire then.silly me I know better than to mess with electrical stuff.

I'm working 3 jobs right now so I only have a few minutes to look at this
