Ok, just scored another set of wheels...
I'll post pictures when i get a chance.
They're 16 1/2 inch deep (12" I think) bullet hole, aluminum.

They came off a 2001 F250.
But...they're aftermarket wheels. I know factory 99+ wheels won't fit because the lugs are smaller...1/2" I think. And the obs trucks are ...9/16" I think.

But these wheel have much larger diameter lug holes. My question is...the only difference in the two is the lug diameter right ? The spacing is the same ?
I wanted these wheels specifically to run hummer tires.

uh no I believe the spacing on our trucks is 8-on-6-1/2" while the newer wheels use a metric pattern. Someone else will chime in I'm sure.

Yeah if they came off a 2001 and you have something older than 1998 its a totally different bolt spacing.

I read somewhere (I believe in an old Diesel Power mag) where someone had actually gone to the trouble of getting the wheels drilled out and bushings pressed in so they could run newer wheels on an older truck.

I realize that is totally against the scrimp-and-save mindset of all OBN'ers LOL;Sweet:rotflmao

Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

I ran into the bolt spacing thing long before I got the PSD I have now. I should have saved the wheels and tires, but I sold them. Had I kept them I would have had 17 inch rims and 35 inch BFG mudders all ready to go on my 2001 PSD. LOL

Why can't foresight be as accurate as hindsight?

Oh well...
Maybe i can trade em for a 16 1/5 set that fits...or just hang on to em...and acquire a late model later

Vans kept the older pattern for awhile. So you can bolt those right on.

Glad I saw this! I know a guy that has a set of factory alcoas off an e250 van, is the center bore the same as the obs trucks? The wheels look identical, but would like to know for sure before spending any money. Thanks in advance!

Well I've seen people use the van wheels on trucks, so I would assume so. But what year van?
But honestly, best bet is to ask him to let you try it.
