Does anyone know what the brake-wheel-cylinder bore diameter is on a 1985 Dana 70, DRW rear-end??

A lot of the Dana 70 Dodge crowd has found that 78 GMC DRW wheel-cylinders, with a 1-1/4" bore, are a direct fit to a Dana 70 , as opposed to the stock 1-1/8" bore.

They speak of dramatic gains in brake performance.

I need to know the stock bore diameter of my Ford, so I can tell if the GMC would be an improvement.

Thanks.

The Ford DRW is 1-1/8".

I can understand the Dodge boys wanting better brakes. They had everthing used on their trucks from 7/8" - 1-1/8" in the back depending on which brakes were usedcookoo .
