Just because it might be an injector doesn't mean it's unimportant. If your piston is pushing liquid fuel into the head to create this loud knock, it's very important to get it fixed, and soon. Either your head gasket will fail or you will end up with something mechanical failing. Ignore the warning your engine is giving you at the peril of your pocket book.
