What do you haul?

I tow a 40' flatbed w/vaccum over hyd. disc brakes hauling a 70hp tractor and 15' flex-wing mower. I gross out between 23K & 26K depending on other equip. I haul at the same time. I'm pulling this load with a 2000 F350 Powerstroke dullie auto with these mods: Superchips programer set at 110HP, 4' exhaust , K&N, gauges, & extra tranny cooler. My truck handles this load well but like "gwhammy " said earlier good trailer brakes make all the differance.

I tow a 24' 5th wheel..don't even know it's back there as it only weighs @8,000# wet

Well, I don't tow all that heavy, but I do tow almost all of the time. It's either my 14' enclosed trailer for work, or my 5500# texture machine for work. Sometimes the car hauler. Biggest load to date is only 15k gross.

I mainly haul ass, but do haul cows, horses, boat, basically anything I need to hook up to and move.. Too much fuel, too much EGT's at times though.. going to experiment with my 10 plate this week, to see where I can find a sweet spot.
