water pumps / thermostat
Any such thing as a higher flowing water pump for a 7.3L. I need to replace it along with a new radiator. It always runs hot (210 - 220 empty 70 mph). I would like to cool it down a little. Fan clutch is new and working properly.
Could my thermostat be malfunctioning? Don't know when or if it has been changed. I would thing it would either stick closed and overheat or stick open and build any heat. Anybody ever have one run hot because of a thermostat?

in the winter its lucky to get to 160 and thats driving forever and you freeze to death, as long as its not getting too hot then i would leave it alone a diesel likes to run warm makes them more efficient
). When towing heavy with mine it would often get almost to 220, then the Fan clutch would engage cool it and all would be fine. At first I was bothered by it but it is actually the nature of the stock fan clutch.
