Want opinions on running this back return line please.

So the one I took off was way to long rubbing on the manifold pan. So I cut a better length but no matter what I try and do to position it right it looks like to me that it wants to push on the corner return cap on passenger side back corner. Am I being over paranoid?
Also right under the crv valve was a nice puddle of diesel. I have come to the conclusion that it was either the return line rubbed a hole in itself or the crv valve witch I submerged in diesel over night monthes ago leaked out some of what it couldn't drain on its own before I put it back on. Before I tore down all the return lines it was only leaking visibly from one cap up front so I don't think thats where the diesel came from but it may have I know that **** likes to get everywhere.

If you store your pic's on a computer, go advanced on here, then scroll down to Manage Attachments, click on that, then you get another window, upper right corner is choose files, that will take you to your pic's, double click any pic, then click on upload, pic link should show under the Manage attachments, when you submit post it will be there.

You can run the crossover line from #6 to #5, but it takes a couple of Tee caps. #8 will have a straight thru cap for tank return, #7 will have a dead end cap.

Well I do have pics just not posted but on the return line that connects both banks of injector's is the line I was having issues with. I ended up going with a hair shorter length section of hose so it doesn't put any side pressure on the caps and doesn't rub the bottom of the manifold catch all pan.( found some old nuts and bolts in that sumbitch)
I just fired her up and let her run for about 5 min with absolutely no leaks now and it only ran rough for all of 10 seconds and cleared up. Going to put the line clamps back on and button her up and let it idle until full temp then take it around the block a few times. I hope this fixes the diesel smell I get from time to time in my ac vents.
As far as the puddle of diesel under the crv valve. It had to of come out the crv valve from when I soaked it monthes ago cause the old return hose that goes under it has no holes that I can see. Time will tell and ill go from there.

Ya ya ya I knew it was prolly wrong but you new what I meant. I should have just referred to it as the tuna can.

So everything is dry now no leaks. I brought it up to temp and ran it hard through 3rd gear two times came home checked it over again and everything looks great.
Thanks for the help gentleman. Its always nice to have some one to throw questions at even when they are simple and stupid its nice to have when your truck is torn apart and you want to do things the right way first.

For future reference, you could consider one of the alternate routings that don't have you crossing over from #7 to the manifold.
