I've done a lot of work and don't have a lot of money, isn't that how it always is? I'm trying to decide what to fix next but I am wanting to make sure it sounds good before spending money on other things.
The sound that interests me the most is most obvious at 24 seconds... Is this normal IDI clatter or do we need to tell Houston about a problem? *Plink plink plink plink*
I've compressed the video to make it smaller so it should load fast unless your on dialup. It played all the way through without pausing on Comcast for me
.
If you want another video I can climb under with the creeper tomorrow to get at the bottom end, just let me know.

Fresh injectors, just about got them all sealed up with the return line.
Unknown miles on engine I am EXTREMELY suspiscious that it is a junkyard engine as you can see the chaulk on the valve cover where the sticker should be
. P.O. I do know 100% that it isn't the original engine, I think I found out it was an early 6.9 like 83. Woohoo. He'is an engine killer though, this IDI just put up the better fight long enough to get into my hands for salvation.
Tried with two different pressure gauges to find out how much compression I've got, both were diesel gauges and both died/were dead from the start. I got one to work once and it said 240 I think before it died so who knows if it was even accurate
I.P. is unknown miles too, I'm guessing original untouched, the old injectors were D code stanadynes that were rusty im guessing original
. Starts fine hot or cold so IP might be fine, it was one of the items I was thinking about fixing with a moose pump or at least a decent 7.3 reman until i can get a moosey

thats just the CDR hose unhooked because I took off my air intake system so it just kinda slumped there. I thought the blowby might be fun to get on video. She blows out the dip stick tube, oil fill port, and cdr but i dont go through oil too often enough to care i guess
