vibrations at higher speeds

can you guys give me a check list of possible worn parts for a vibration at higher speeds? building up to speed (like 60mph) she'll vibrate a little bit. i can feel it in the steering wheel and the truck itself. sometimes it stablizes, and is smooth as ice, and other times i have to change my speed until it smoothes out. let me know.

some parts replaced are:

u joints about 6 months ago with non greaseable ones.
some ball joints, not sure off hand which ones.
wheel berrings, and perhaps may need to be re-tightned.

Sounds like it might be a balance/tire issue if it comes and goes. One way to check is to bump the pressure in the tires up to about 20-30 PSI above the max. Take the truck for a drive and see if it behaves the same way. If it doesn't, start letting the pressure back down to normal one tire at a time and take it for a drive after you let each one down. If it's a balance/tire issue the problem will come back as soon as you air down the 'bad' tire.

if you can feel it in you steering wheel, it's in your front end.
if you can feel in on your floorboards, it's elsewhere.
carefully swap out your wheels. rt frnt to left outer rear. left front to right outer rear. Why? you keep the rotation the same. if it isn't in your wheel bearings(highly unlikely since wheel bearings start to hum about 35 and above) then the next likely suspect is your tires since you've already eliminated the other stuff in the front.

The ONLY way a wheel-bearing can get out of "adjustment" is to wear itself loose.

If a previously properly adjusted bearing becomes loose, it needs replacing, along with it's race.

Think about it.
