I just ordered my outlet elbow, and downpipe. I am trying to find some stacks to run in the bed, but I cannot find any in my budget. Anyone know of any used stack kits? I need the whole system. Can yall help me out?

Get hold of Justin (Punkmechanic), he can get some stacks off 18-wheelers for pretty cheap, may not be the entire system tho.

What are the part numbers for the outlet elbow and downpipe? I tried four times to purchase these and they would not sell them to me.

Sorry, I don't know the part number. I ordered them over the phone from ATS. They will tell you that you have to have the turbine housing as well (which I wanted, but am to cheap to buy). But I just told them I only wanted the outlet elbow and downpipe. What company were you dealing with?

This guy's stacks are chrome. Are they going to rust on me, or are they decent material? I want stainless but these are a good deal. Anyone have chrome stacks that can attest to whether they will hold up? Thanks

Here is some.... Stacks

Hell, there's a guy on ebay selling new stacks kits that have everything that guy has (stacks, pipes, flex pipe, clamps etc) for $395 and free shipping.

BTW I have chrome stacks, they seem to be holding up just fine. They even got some scratches in them while I was installing them but they aren't showing any rust so far. Most rigs have chrome stacks on them, not stainless. I think it holds up pretty good on the stacks because they don't get mud and other crap on them.

I was trying to buy from ATS also. If I didn't buy the complete kit, they really did not want to deal with me.

Talk to Jason or Bernie IIRC, at ATS, he is the only one that wants to help with the IDI parts it seems.
You dont need the turbine housing just the outlet elbow, I dont know if the housings are the same AR but when I had them side by side, ats/ford, I couldn't see any difference.

+1 on Russ's comments on the turbine housing. I have two units sitting next to each other one is factory the other is the aftermarket. outlets are undoubtedly different, but the housing has the same bolt pattern and ar numbers

The turbine housings are identical...they just want to charge you that extra $200 for it.

Actually, scratch that...although I never took the elbow off my factory housing to check, I believe the bolts that hold the elbow on the factory housing are standard thread, while those same holes on the new ATS housing are M8-1.25, like every other turbo I've messed with so far.
