Update on smoke

Ok some of you may know I was having an unknown problem with my truck smoking on cold start ups. Well here is a picture of after it sits overnight without the block heater plugged in.

I plug in the block heater and let it sit over night I get no smoke on start up!!! This is making me believe its my dang well man glowplugs?

It's fine, run it and don't look back.

If it starts easy, drive it. If not, check those plugs before they swell.

I'll have to try to get some pics of mine today. It always smokes on cold starts but never has a problem starting. Smoke also clears right up after you drive it.

are you running wmo or anything like that mine smokes like crazy also

No I run stright diesel with one ounce of 2 cycle for every gallon, and a shot of power service.

its going to do that when its cold----incomplete combustion----colder than a well diggers a$% inside those walls----or a witches t#$ in a brass brassier in feb---

I can't see any color in that smoke, almost looks like steam. If its pure white, I wouldn't worry about it. We have 3 diesels and they all make smoke like that for the first 5 minutes in cold weather. Longer, depending on conditions.
