Okay so I have a 1993 f250 7.3 idi, and for a little bit, it would only smoke at start up, white smoke, and kinda blue tbh. But I don’t think it’s burning, anyway over time it’s gotten worse and now it smokes constantly, more at start up but still constantly smoking even after it gets warm. It’s also misfiring, which was only happening when it was cold, now it does it more consistently as well. Is this injectors ?? I’ve felt all my injectors after running for awhile and the whole right side of injectors were hotter than the rest. Also heard CDR valve can cause smoke ? I ordered a new one of those just waiting on it. With that being said, if it is injectors, where’s the cheapest best way to go ??

Remember that the injectors and pup should be replaced as a set, ideally. They wear at the same rate. If your injectors are worn, then so is your pump. I feel like the CDR causing burning oil/smoking is an overstated solution that doesn't solve the problem very often. Can a bad CDR cause this problem? Sure it can. I just don't think that it's as often as is pushed online. Just like "change your injectors". The first thing that I'd do is to check your timing. If you don't have access to anything to check it, then I'd try advancing your timing slightly to see if that makes any difference. How much hotter are the one side than the others? Can you check with an infrared thermometer? One injector that's hanging open or dripping a lot after firing certainly could be hotter that the rest, but all four on one side seems a little extreme to me.
The main point here is that I think that you should do some checking and testing before you go and spend a bunch of money to throw parts at your engine.
