Up pipes

My DS up pipe is leaking so I was going to replace it with one of the new upgraded versions, any opinions on what is out there? The diesel innovations pipes look good but I do not see how you can get them in being that they are all one piece.

Im still running stock pipes so I got nothing for you there.but the 99-03 s have a good amount of room in the turbo area, much better than the obs.id rather replace a turbo on 10 SDs a week than 1 obs a month

It looks like once the turbo is out getting the pipes out should be okay as long as I do not break the bolts. I don't see how there is room to get this in though.

You should be able to snake it in since it has flex points

Mine are stock too, but I might just get some ceramic coated here in the near future...

If you guys are replacing them cuz of the ceramic coating hoopla.you can wrap them with header wrap to achieve the same thing for less money.won't be pretty but who sees behind the motor anyways?

Mine is leaking pretty good. I am thinking of using the header wrap, ceramic coating is $90 extra.

I am also considering a GP38R turbo. I have only heard good things about them but it is a lot of money. How much longer can I expect my stock turbo to last? It has almost 200k on it.

As long as the maintenance on it has been kept up since new and proper cool downs for the turbo before shutting it down it could go another 200,000.
