Turning up the pump?

every pump is different. i sold my truck to a buddy of mine and he turned the pump up 5 flats and it still wasnt maxed out. in the truck in my sig pic it took 8 flats to max it out. of course i didnt even start it like that without a pyro and without a turbo , i was just curious to how many it took.

what truck are you talking about in your sig, they both seem to be gassers?

Like stated above, who knows? Depends on the IP. Just turn it in (clockwise) to increase the pressure on the spring. When it won't turn anymore, it's maxed. Once it won't turn anymore, just bump it back a little bit from full in.

DISREGARD ALL OF THE ABOVE IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PRYOMETER!!!! No pyro, no messing with the fuel!

If you don't have a turbo turning up the pump after the point it smokes a little will only give you more smoke and fewer mpg's, won't do much for the performance.

Where is a good spot to but a pyro? Havent seen any ay the auto part store

Any how-to's on doing this? I have a pyro and new BB injector's, so I think the pump can handle a flat or 2.

Pick a style, then choose a gauge that's got close to a 1600 degree max.

yeah, pretty much all across the internet... wouldn't hurt to check ebay, they have a bunch of cheap ass ones as well as autometer

Probably a stupid question, but what is a flat? is it each flat on the 5/32 allen wrench? so one whole turn would be 6 flats? or what?

yes your correct 1/6 of a turn = 1 flat

Yes... A flat is one side of the alen wrench so 6 flats would be one full turn. Glad you asked the question before you "turned up" a pump. Guessing on this subject is not going to get you what you want...
