turning up fuel screw on pump

is turning up the fuel on the ip useless with a pump that has 233000 miles on it , or will it help out on power do to the pump being weak ?

it will help a little, but mostly all it is going to do is roll black smoke and make your EGT's higher.. advancing the pump a little will wake it up some too, but a fresh pump and injectors are the way to go
