as long as the 94 is a 7.3 turbo idi then its straight forward, if the 94 is a powerchoke then its not impossible but it is terribly difficult.
you dont have to turn up your pump, but you will notice more power gains if you set your timing correctly and turn you pump up. Hypermax highly recommends installing a pyrometer, boost gauge, and retorqueing your head bolts. I did all of the above, some have done none with no ill affects. I would do it again if I had to do it over, I prefer more work now to even a possiblility of a catastrophe later.
