Any options for the guy who isnt interested in studding his motor but looking for a little quicker spool up ?

Max the stock, Stock fuel system minus fuel pump. Downpipe, exhaust, air intake... only mods I plan on. I rarely see over 2500 rpm and mostly see under 2000.

Ah I see now, well any time you balance a turbo you generally see an increase in spool time since there is less drag on the bearings. Matching that with a lightweight billet wheel makes for a pretty snappy turbo. I have a customer with only a rebuild and a T04S/60-1 billet wheel and he can make 9 psi at 2000 rpms. The t350 wheel really opens up the engine but does bring the boost curve higher into the rpm range, so keeping the stock turbine wheel would be better for your usage.
