Turbo Question

I rebuilt my turbo this past summer. Not sure if what I used was Garret parts. Most likely they were off brand parts. I have contacted typ4 and am awaiting feedback on good quality replacement bearings and what not. I think my turbo is still good... I do however get a hair dryer sound when I am stomping the go go pedal and having a hard takeoff. Maybe metal to metal contact with the fins? I dunno, I did have the air breather off yesterday and see I have some side to side play, but no evidence of the fins touching the housing. Should the noise be concerning? I'm not sure if its metal to metal or just air sucking somewhere.

If if didnt come in a garrett box it wasnt.I will use the cheapo kits for the nice new pretty plates but they get garrett bushings,thrusts and seals.
