Try to start the turbo truck tomorrow!

Well tomorrow I'll be going to work at firing the 7.3 in the truck I am getting with the turbo engine. Hopefully I can get this to go, basic stuff....and thanks to Gary's tips on bleeding the fuel system....full throttle crank 15 crack lines retighten do again....I should be good to go...and since there is a can o crack aka starter fluid in the cab I suspect it's not long for this world. likely a glow plug issue but who knows? regardless with 30 deg Celcius here I doubt that glow will matter much...

I'll video this thing if I can get it firing...lol...and ya I may use the crack in a can, I am really only after that turbo and if I can drive it home...test the trans... and supposed posi diff...even better!

Hell ya cranked it for bout 20 seconds.....one red top optima only, squirted some canned crack in the intake, cranked bout ten seconds it fired right up...runs nor great but runs no boost showing on guage. oil pressure shows,ok so will pinh off broken brake line fill fluids and test drive. If ok will drive it home and thats it....i now have a turbo truck extra cab 2wd sweeeeeet.

Ya the motor should work out fine....the avatar worked out great...that's my wife

Did this lil video on my cell so it's a wee tad jittery and bouncy since I don't have any kind of tripod for the phone Hope ya all get a kick out it, I was surprised at the ease it started and ran....really easy.

Managed to get this Kick ASS work bench for free from the fellow with the truck too....My goodness it's sturdy
