Truck For $500 ? Opinions

Well, just like the other thread.

I have an opportunity to buy a truck. Its an 86 F250, 6.9, 4 speed. Im not sure if its 4x4 but its an Arizona rust free truck. dude wants $500 for it. I dont know miliage or anything yet. Would it be worth it for the front fenders and then to part out ?

i just bought a 84 f350 gasser for 500 and parted it out to nothing. made 500 on it. but i kept alot off it. winch, transfercase, driveshafts, tires and wheels and hood.

I just want the front fenders. I could care less about everything else, i want a ZF-5 speed.

Buy it then part it out. If the engine runs well then you can get most or all your money just for it. If the seller told you about the truck then he may have or will tell others about it. Procrastination is a deal killer unless it's just not important enough for you to get the fenders
