Transmission Fluid

I just changed the transmission fliud and filter and was wondering what brand of fluid that everyone prefers? I looked at synthetics but money is starting to get a little low, so that's out. But is their any brand to stay away from or any that's recommended?

Besure to use anything Mercon or Mercon V rated.

Personally I like the synthetic stuff. Royal Purple is what I use. Tranny is happy with it.

Synthetic tranny fluid is not expensive, it's cheap insurance. I know it hurts putting it in, but it's a lot less than a tow bill.
