Can I use a 94 transmission in a 98? what would be some things that might have to be changed or can it be done at all?

If it is an auto and the 98 is not a 98.5 or newer meaning if the engine isn't a 24 valve u should be fine. If it is a NV 4500 than it will work either way. Hope this helps.

Oops my bad I should've specified this is a 318 half ton

Oh my bad is it an auto and did it come off a 318? The 318 as well as the 360 were pretty much unchanged until they were discontinued. Should work either way

yea its an auto and will a trans off a 360 work on a 318?
