Hi all, got a problem with e brake on my f450 7.3 singel axel dump truck.MY e.brake is in the rear of the tranny.Adjustments are at rear of tranny on the out side.I have adjusted the cable as short as it will go but it still does not work. When I mash the foot pedel. It pulls the rod on the back of the tranny but it acts like its just not working on the inside of tranny.Does it have some type of band in the tranny that locks down and keeps the truck from moving? Any help will be appreciated . Thanks to all.

Not sure how it works, but I believe it is a drum style brake for the driveline rather than the wheels....

Calvin (towcat) has played with one or two F-Superdutys...... he knows about these brakes and hopefully he will be along shortly.....

I do know he has said they ain't cheap to fix.......
