tool box lock

Ok, so I've got me new truck and new challenges. I have a typical bed tool box that straps across the bed behind the rear window. It has a latch to open on each side and a lock. Well being a keyless type of guy, has anyone hooked up an elec. solenoid inside to allow both sides to unlock or lock via the interior door lock switch??? this way when I exit the truck and lock the doors, it will look my tool box as well.

it sounds doable. Just get a door lock solinoid from a ford truck and mount its linkage rod to the latch rod.
