Timing Meter

I have this kent moore timing meter. I can tell you it works great and if I needed a "spare" I would be bidding on this one but I don't. The timing lite is easy to find at any Pepboys or other like almost autoparts store. Hmm so this will work with our trucks for sure? Ive wanted to check my timing for awhile and for only $75 this seems like a pretty good deal. It says it comes with a inductive pickup timing light...what else would i need to buy along with this setup to time my truck? Thanks. I might just have to place a bid on this.

As I posted above... All you need is an adjustable timing lite. If you want a good one make sure its digital so you can really time it down to the smallest degree. My Snapon MT1241 has a dial so its not really as accurate as a digital lite. Ebay has many to choose from...

I just went looking on Ebay and found some examples. Mine is the MT1241 in the red case... Have them ship it the UPS depot in Bellingham marked "Hold For Pickup". You're close enough to the border to run down there to pick it up. That will save you all the brokerage fees etc (usually about $50.00+ depending on the company). You pick it up from UPS and declare it at the border coming back, since it's made in the USA you go in (if they make you) pay the GST and you're done. I do it all the time

UMMMM whats that -10 / -20 / -30 for... my Pontiac has seen that, but my idi... Nope. I am however taking out the 0-30 boost gauge I have and putting in a 0-15. I never get over 7psi and with the 0-30 it seems I never get the gauge to move, kind of discouraging.

Yeah i never thought about doing that...the only problem is because of past situations i have trouble getting across the border. But luckily i emailed the seller and he said he would be willing to ship to canada. He just has to edit the item so it will let me bid on it.
