Tight/Hard Steering 06 1500 4x4

So I recently bought an 06 1500 4x4 with the 4.8L that was an ex BLM vehicle. Upon driving on the highway around 65-75 with very little movement of the steering wheel it just takes off in the direction you turn to. It has no play in the steering with the engine running or off. Recently had all the steering linkage replaced in the front end due to the BLM complaining of the same issue and it was no solved before it was auctioned off. The tires are in good shape and not cupped at all. good set tire pressure. Anyone else have this problem with their truck and what was done to fix it? it is very annoying and has no play room and the alignment is set on the truck but when you touch the wheel barely in any direction it takes off.


Any ideas? Its my first GM Ive bought so i am pretty stumped on it.
